Don't trash that stash!
Greetings! Are you ready for a new challenge at Clear it Out!? For this week, don't throw out your scraps...use them to paper piece an image. For my card, I used a Digi Darla Potted Pansy stamp and then paper-pieced the pots with some Stampin Up paper. Under my image, I also layered some fun chevron DSP and topped it off with some Crisp Canteloupe ruffled ribbon. If you would like to order the paper or the ribbon, let me know!

Father's Day is Coming Soon!
Over at Clear It Out this week, we have a challenge in mind for those special guys in your life. This week the challenge is to make a male card and to use metal as the stash item. So, for my card, I used my Bugaboo monkey fella to create this card from my boys. My metal items are the four gold brads rounding the corners. I also thought the glimmer paper added some shine behind the #1. Hope you can join us this week! Prizes will be awarded!

Hello...Spring!
Greetings everyone! This week at Clear it Out, the challenge is to focus on "Critters" to create a card or project using your stash of earth tone colors. For my card, I used a Digi-Darla image that evoked the song of spring from two birds on the branch. I colored them in using Stampin Up markers and colored pencils. After that, I used my new This in That SU paper and backed it against the woodgrain paper I had from SU awhile ago. Thanks for looking! I hope you have a creative week!

Teapot for Mother's Day
Hello everyone! This week we have a new challenge at Clear It Out! To participate, you must use two or more patterned papers and make it a card for mother's day. For my card, I used this digi stamp from Stampin Chef and knew right away that I wanted it to look as if the words were pouring from the spout. As of this week, it is FREE on her site. Check it out! I also added some old fashioned/ shabby chic papers and ribbons and there you go! I can't wait to send this to my mom!
Have a great day!

Looking forward to some warm weather...
Well, after a snow day on Friday, I am getting a bit discouraged about ever seeing warm days again. That's why this week, my card speaks from the heart! I can't wait for this to be me --wearing shorts and looking out over some water on a warm day. I made this card for the Clear It Out challenge this week. Play along and use those Buttons! The theme is "anything goes" and the stash item is buttons.
Check it out!
To make this card, I printed my Digi Darla image and colored/painted it in. I cut the frame out of my blue checked DSP with Stampin Up's framelit and then added coordinating ribbon, buttons and saying. Thanks for looking!
I am also linking up to these fun challenges:
Creative Inspirations Paint - Anything Goes
2 Sister Challenge - Use Blue or Green
QKR Stampede Challenge - Use Punches or Dies

Spring is coming, right?
I ask you about spring because here in Minnesota, we haven't seen any of it yet. I am still looking at snow on the ground and more to come. Boo hoo. But anyway, let's get to some happy stuff....this card I made for the "Use Your Stash" Simply Create Too Challenge this week. To make this card, I was trying to use up some paper leftover from a scrapbooking class I just gave last week. The green designer paper from a scrap leftover. I actually had enough to make three of these cards with different sentiments. Although this is an unusual color combination for me, I do like how it turned out. These field flower stamps from Stampin Up are so pretty and fun to use. Thanks for looking! Please check our challenge this week!
Button Up Challenge Time at Clear It Out!
So, we are digging out from a foot of snow in Minnesota, but I just had to make a card that was bright and happy, unlike our weather. I made this card for the new challenge at Clear it Out this week. For this challenge, the theme is BUTTON UP and you need to use 2 or more BUTTONS. I don't know about you, but I always have a ton of buttons. I buy them and then never think to use them! For my card this week, I added them to this bright card which incorporates a QKR image. I don't know if you can tell, but the jar has some clear glitter on it to make it look glassy. The papers and ribbon are all from Stampin Up's current designer paper collection. I thought it was a sweet image and it reminded me of my mom who always used to can fruits and veggies during the summer. C'mon summer!
